Scottie Pippen, though often overshadowed by the dominating presence of the great Michael Jordan on the court, was definitely one of the greatest NBA players of all time. His signature kicks, the Air Pippens, are some of the cleanest signature models ever produced by Nike, with very little ornamentation on the exterior. With a sleek design, a clean white, black, and red colorway, and a generally understated appearance, these are some of the cleanest signature shoes out there. The performance of the Pippen II’s matches their looks, as they were the shoes worn by Pippen during the Chicago Bulls’ great 1998 season. If you’re looking for a sleek pair of kicks with one of the greatest names in basketball attached to them, look no further than these nice Retros. House of Hoops exclusive but also available at OSneaker.

The Lebron VI (6) coming Oct. 2008
As some of you know, the Zoom LeBron VI went through quite a bit of a redesign process until it was finalized. Here are pictures of some Zoom Lebron VI prototypes, with what looks to be a very slick ballistic nylon upper on the black-red-white models, and some choice carbon fiber accenting on the heels of the models. These VI’s are definitely some very, very sick models, which makes it all the more interesting that they won’t be making it into production. Until some of these prototypes show up on eBay or elsewhere, most of us will just have to look at them and wonder what might have been. Via Nike Talk.
