"You can do aNYthing in CHRIST that strengthens you". Words by his grandmother Mildred Phillips that christened the birth of a new star. AHMAAD is the definition of the one so it’s only right that it pertains to this superstar in the making. Born AHMAAD HARRIS in the Fort Greene section of BROOKLYN, N.Y. on December 21, 1988, there was always special about this kid. However music was not something that he considered on taking up, in fact AHMAAD always wanted to be a film director. “ I was always inspired by Spike Lee and many of his movies during the 90’s so I figured I should get into that.” But it wasn’t until 1997 when AHMAAD first heard the greatest hip-hop album of all time "Illmatic" by the great rapper NAS. “When I heard NAS I automatically wanted to give rap a try.” By 2001 when AHMAAD first started high school he would write raps and battle many of the other kids in school but one day when jus playing around singing a song on the radio he realized that he could sing.
